THE OTHER CITY explores alternative visions and mutant strategies for a rapid and just transition to a low-carbon future.
We combine unauthorized public installations with elaborate mixed-media content to conjure a series of hyperportals which disrupt people’s habitual experience, and invite them to explore alternative visions of contemporary urban life.

Traditional dispersals of knowledge, reference, and discourse are no longer adequate. Disinformation, noise, surveillance, and manipulated consumer lifestyles combine to produce alienating effects that exasperate our genuine and instinctive attempts to connect with the real.
In the midst of this civilized madness, our ability to understand and navigate has now been reduced. SAVAGE is a reoccurring zine exploring both ancient and modern prospects for coherence and meaning outside the consumerist, digitally saturated, urban calamity.

GHOSTWORK
Certain places are defined by lingering significances, forgotten histories, or traces of those who once inhabited them.
This project seeks to (re)create complex expressions of those traces, histories, and potentials via direct engagements with places and spaces rich in local metaphysical folklore.
We use haunted sites and objects to conjure images and resonances from the past in order to illuminate and inform the present.
